Duties:

Kitchen volunteers assist in preparing and serving meals to Amos House guests.  Occasional assistance is needed in cleaning the kitchen as well.

Attire:

We ask that volunteers wear long pants, closed toe shoes and/or sneakers. A hair net is necessary and can be provided, (or you can wear a cap if you prefer.)  Volunteers must also be able to lift 25 pounds.

Location:

The dining hall is located on 460 Pine Street, Providence, RI 02907. When you arrive, you can ask for Doug or Chef Michael.  They will instruct you on volunteer duties and will introduce you to the staff that you will be working with while volunteering.

Parking:

Parking is available in the Amos House lot (415 Friendship Street), or in the gravel lot at the corner of Friendship and Portland St.
