Serve Rhode Island has selected the Junior League of Rhode Island as one of the recipients of the 2009 Outstanding Volunteer Award. The award is in recognition of our years of service to the communities of Rhode Island, our illustration of the true potential of volunteers to make a difference in their communities and "Inspiring by Example". Notable speakers will attend, as well as representatives from several local non-profits.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on May 13th at the Twin Rivers Casino in Lincoln, RI. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased by calling Serve Rhode Island at 401.331.2298.
